State Blinking

Hi there,
I've been trying to get my own characters into a Storyline project using states to move from one image to another. However, there is a problem in that sometimes (seemingly randomly), instead of a smooth transition from one state to the next, the character will disappear for a split second before reappearing in the next pose.
Does anyone know why this might be happening? Most of the time, the character moves from one pose to the next with no problems, and I can't seem to purposefully create this error, so I don't know what might be causing it. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with this issue, but I wanted to share this article in case this is what you may be encountering
It is hard to diagnose if you are not able to consistently reproduce the issue. I would be sure that you are testing the published output as well to see if it occurs there.
Okay, I think I figured out the issue. It seems like the character was flickering if I created a new state, but didn't import a new image, making the new state identical to the normal state. Not sure why this happens, but as long as the new states are all altered, the issue doesn't appear to come up anymore.
