States and conditions

Mar 14, 2024

Hi,

I have a picture and added 10 transparant shapes that the student needs to click to show the things that can go wrong in this situation.

I have 2 questions:

- I would like to add a smiley when they have visited a shape

- I would like to add a condition to "gewicht1" or "gewicht2". If they have visited one of the 2 shapes, the state of both shapes should change to "visited".

I have already added triggers so layers appear, but when I do a preview, I don't see any shape that I can click.

I am desperate, so I need help from a hero!

Thanks.

Thanks for posting and sharing your story file. I am not 100% sure what you want the result to be, but I did see a few things that might be creating the issue.

I understand why you are using transparent shapes instead of hotspots, since you want to have states change.  However, the Max 3000 lbs is already set to it's visited state and there is also a trigger to change it to visited.  I recommend deleted that trigger (visited states do not need to be triggered) and changing the initial state back to normal.  These to issues have made the first option there unclickable.

Also, once a layer appears the other objects you want your user to select are covered up by hotspots on the layers.  These hotspots do not have triggers, so that are blocking the user from being able to select any of the other objects in the interaction.  I recommend removing those hotspots.

I think that once you do those things, you will be in a better place to determine the next best steps.
