I've imported some slides from a PresenterMedia template - but the only slides that came over were the ones with a video 'sidebar' that looks distracting. The 'Static' backgrounds that are available in Powerpoint do not appear to be available in Storyline. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, Jeff -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! May I ask if you have had a chance to take a look at this information on Importing PowerPoint Slides, as well as Working with Templates?
I did check the tutorials - and they didn't cover my specific question. Which is this: When I imported some powerpoint slides - Articulate only imported the slides with video backgrounds. I don't want the video running in the background on most of the slides - since it is distracting.
On previous imports - I was able to select 'static' as an option from the layout tab. On this particular import - none of the static slides showed up.
Hi, Jeff -- Thanks for your reply but unfortunately, when you reply via email, any attachments you intended to send are not visible here in the post. Please click here to be taken to the post itself, and then use the grey "ADD ATTACHMENT" button in the bottom left of the reply box. :)
Great news, Jeff, and thanks so much for sharing an update for others who may come across this post in the future. Please feel free to let us know if you need anything further!

Not sure why.
Here's a clip from a similar ppt template:

This slide shows the animated and static layout. However, when importing, only the animated slides showed up for me to select.
Thoughts?
Thanks Christie!
I think I got it! It may be due to my work computer using Windows 7 (I know...)
At any rate - I was able to delete the video in the slide master - and use a static picture.
Thanks again for your help.
Jeff
