I am wondering if it is possible to stop the user from being able to
navigate using the menu once he/she has started the quiz in
Storyline. In Articulate Presenter there was an option that made it so
that when the learner tried to click on the menu to go back/forward in
the module, a pop-up window would appear saying "Notification: You must
first answer the questions to continue." The only solution I have found
is to hide the menu on the quiz slides. Is there another option?
I was actually going to suggest hiding the menu, but I see you've already tried that out! If you'd like to see a similar option to Presenter's pop-up window, a light box might work best for you. Have you had a chance to try this method?
Another option could be to set a variable on the quiz slide that restricts navigation until the user has finished interacting with the content on the slide. There's an article with information on how to do this; take a look.
