I have deleted the trigger that advances to the next slide with the timeline ends. but the slide is continuing to advance. I only want the slide to advance when the user clicks the NEXT button. I have the Jump to next slide when the user clicks the next button in my trigger list.
By any chance is the slide set to Advance automatically? You can tell by clicking on the gear icon in the bottom right of the Slide Layers panel. Refer to screen shot. If I'm misunderstanding, please clarify and someone will jump in.

Just as Rebecca says, if you have it set to advance automatically then just deleting the trigger will not change this behaviour (strange but true).
Is there a way to only allow the user to advance by clicking Next when the timeline ends? I want the slide to advance by the user/when the user clicks Next, but I want the timeline to finish before they can do that. Do I need to add a condition? Thanks!

You need to set each slide to By user
