I have a quiz at the end of a class that I created in Articulate Storyline 2. It is:
SCORM 1.2
Set to Passed/Failed
Set to Track using quiz result
Set to Allow user to retry quiz.
It allows users to retry the quiz as many times as desired, but once they complete the course it only shows the results of the final attempt and does not record the number of attempts. Is there a way to configure this so that all scores are reported to the LMS?
This is typically an LMS setting - not something specific to how you've set your content up in Storyline. Have you contacted your LMS team to see if they had any ideas or suggestions on how to handle multiple attempts and tracking each attempt and score?
I have not. I am fairly new to Storyline and I wanted to make sure that I had set it up correctly with Storyline and was not missing anything before engaging the LMS support team. I will reach out to them and see what/if anything can be done.
It sounds like all is set up correctly Sarah, and depending on what LMS you have, they may want different settings - or have something within the LMS settings that would allow you to adjust the number of attempts or track all the users answers.
According to Justin Grenier (Staff Member), Articulate does not send attempt information to the LMS, so it's not an LMS setting. See the last post from Justin in this discussion thread.
