Storyline 1 system requirements are here, and you'll see it's supported through Office 2013 for publishing to word and translation, and importing in content from Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 and later (These versions aren't supported: 64-bit, Click-to-run, Office 365.)

Storyline 1 isn't officially supported with Microsoft Office 2016. You may find that they interact with one another properly, but we can't guarantee it. Here are the complete system requirements for Storyline 1.
