Storyline 2 files appear to be "locked" and won't sync to the Box website until I quit Storyline. Storyline 1 files synced to the Box website with no problem. Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm not familiar with using Box as a syncing/back up platform - but I suspect the change is in regards to how Storyline 2 now has the "auto recovery" feature included. Possibly someone with more knowledge of Box can offer some additional insight here.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other thoughts - have you checked to see if SL1 projects are still syncing? Maybe something was updated at the Box website too?
SL 1 projects do sync correctly with SL 1 still running. I don't have to quit SL 1 to get the file synced. As far as we know nothing at Box has changed. SL 2 seems to be the issue. All other file types (MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, image files, Flash) sync OK.
I am having the same issues with both Dropbox and Google Drive and sync with Storyline 2. It seems Storyline 2 somehow locks the file and does not allow Dropbox or Google Drive access when Storyline 2 is open
Just as Jim above - as soon as I close Storyline 2 - all of the .story files sync.
I don't know that there is a workaround for this issue - as even while a Storyline 2 file is open, you'll be unable to attach it to an email or anywhere else as the file is in use. You'll need to save and close the file before being able to sync to a site such as Dropbox/Google Drive or attach the .story file somewhere else.

Hi Ashley - thanks for the reply.
I did try disabling Auto Recovery and re-starting everything, but that didn't clear the sync problem. Any other suggestions?

Hi Jim,
Unfortunately I don't have any other thoughts or ideas to share - but hopefully someone in the community who uses box will chime in with other ideas.
