Storyline 2 - issue with layers

Hi, I really need your help. I have been using Articulate Storyline for a while and recently we upgraded to version 2. I will admit to being a fan of layers and it has always worked fine, till now. I have a slide with mulitple layers. In 1, it works brilliantly. You click the tab and the next layer appears. In version 2, all the other layers are still visible. I have checked the set up of the layers and they are set to "hide other slide layers" and "hide objects in the base layer". I have tried recreating the slide but can't see what is going wrong. Has anyone any experience of this? I have tried to work round it by making the tabs opaque but it defeats the point and doesn't provide the quality of experience, it did before.
