Storyline 2 Project not displaying correctly in HTML Web Output
Jun 17, 2016
Hi. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I have a project that works correctly as a CD publish. When I publish for the web (HTML5), the project shows weird scrunched up text in the menu in Chrome, shows a spinning wheel in the middle of a video in Firefox, and the Resources tab does not open in Explorer 11. In all browsers, there is an interaction where users must click on an answer (images). Once any choice is clicked, the image disappears-using all browsers. In all browsers, a weird black square appears at the top corner of a video. I checked and there is no square placed there in my original project. Interesting enough, when I published this project for the web the first time, the interaction worked fine in Chrome and Firefox. I checked the project and republished, only to find new malfunctions. Does anyone have any solutions I can try? These malfunctions are driving me crazy, especially since this project needs to be up and running already on the web.
Thanks!

Hi Zenaida,
If it just started happening, I'd look to confirm that you're working with and publishing to a local drive adhering to the character and file path guidelines here. Also, you'll want to check that you're uploading the published content to the intended environment as detailed here.
