Storyline 2 quiz submit button

I have a quiz questions that I want to show the results layer and then branch to a certain slide, depending on a few variables. If I put the submit interaction first, it shows the results but doesn't do the jump to the appropriate slide. Here is the trigger sequence.

Hi Poppy,
Do you have feedback layers as well associated with your quiz question slide? If so, it may be getting trapped in there - as by default the submit trigger would show the appropriate layer and then move on from there. Could you include these additional triggers on a layer - even for when the timeline of the layer starts?
If you're still running into issues, could you share a bit more of the project so that we could take a look at the set up?
