Storyline 2: Screen recordings lead to grey circle w/ grey exclamation point

Hi everybody, I apologize for posting a new thread about my issue; I originally added to a thread that started five years ago and has not been updated in a year and from what I read I was under the impression it should have been fixed with update 7.  

I am using Storyline 2  incl Update 11. I build a course with 30 short screen recordings (between 5 sec and 25 sec long each); added an mp3 for narration and a shape here and there, and I am utilizing the zoom feature in maybe 5 out of the 30 slides.

After publishing the course and viewing the story.html file I start clicking through the scene including the recordings rapidly (every 2 seconds) and it leads to the grey circle including a grey exclamation mark on a white background

 Always on a different slide using Internet Explorer 11; Version 11.09... I am not utilizing layers, or the seekbar. I deleted everything in the "tab order" section.  Hero Phil Mayor suggested to reset every slides to its initial state. It did not make a difference. Hero Wendy Farmer inquired if I am looking at the flash or html5 output. (A big thank you to Phil ad Wendy!) It works okay in html5 but the graphics are blurry and not as "crisp" and I prefer to stay with the flash output for now. I had several people review the course on their machines, and they are reporting the same issue. 

Any ideas what else I can try? This is a big bummer for a relatively small project.
