I was hoping the issue with text entry interactions set to go back to its initial state would be resolved in Storyline 2, but it is still problematic. Whatever the user enters in the text box remains when you go back to the interaction slide although it should reset itself. Will this be resolved soon? If not I will have to rewrite and replace all these activities in each module since I can't deliver it to my client as-is.
The text remaining is actually the expected behavior. To have it reset, you can simply add a trigger to the interaction slide that resets the text entry variable back to blank when the timeline starts (see attached).
Of course, I may be misunderstanding! If so, please let me know and I'll see what we can do!
