I exported a word file (.doc), translated the conted and imported the new file.
I get the message : "congratulations, translation was imported successfully", but it is still in English. Interestingly, I followed the same steps for a translation in French and it did work!
That is odd that translating English to French worked but not for German! I tried this in a sample course in Storyline 2 and the translation file did import for me.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately here. I'll share my findings and delete it when I'm done troubleshooting!
