A (seemingly) simple issue with hopefully a simple solution...
I have built a Storyline 3 project using the default player, including the previous and nextbuttons.
When I preview the project, the buttons don't do anything. I've tried resetting the menu between Free, restricted, and locked, and unticking the "Lock Previous and Next buttons," but it doesn't seem to work, even when the timeline ends.
That does not sound like a simple issue. Unless you've deleted all the default triggers for the PREV and NEXT buttons, they should let you navigate through slides during preview.
In short, it sounds like there's something wrong with the file. You might want to try creating a new one just to test whether the buttons work. If they work in that other file, try importing the slides from the project that doesn't work.
