Storyline 360 trial will not run

I have been asked by my company to test out Articulate 360 specifically Storyline 360, I downloaded the trial last month and it would not run. I then had to move on to something else. Today (3 days of trail remain) I went back to it to find the issue still remains. I installed the update and now it says: "Storyline isn't fully installed and must exit" (see attached). I uninstalled it and then re-installed and I have the same issue. I am running Window 8.1 in Parallels 11 on my Mac. I have run Storyline 2 for a long time with this setup without any issues but 360 just will not work.
Any suggestions? I need to test this software out in order to decide whether our company will be subscribing to it but at this rate my trial period will have lapsed before I even launch it!

Well we can certainly help you out and get your trial extended since you haven't been able to use it! Can you connect with our Support team here and they'll help figure out what happened and then get you that extension?

In Kai's scenario we had to get some installation logs to figure out what was going on. If you'd like to connect with our Support team here they'll be able to assist you with this.
