Storyline and EasyGenerator

Aug 11, 2023

Hi everyone,

I use EasyGenerator at work for some courses and I need to embed a Storyline file into it similar to how you can do with Rise. Sadly for this course I can't use Rise because I need this course to not live on our LMS.

My options are to paste html code or to embed a URL. For the former I published for web and then went through the various output folders to find which html code I might need. There were a few in various folders and the ones I tried resulted in gibberish output, unfortunately. For the latter, I tried uploading to Review360 and then using that link but it won't connect.

Does anyone know if I can do this? Or does someone have some ninja workaround to make this happen?

Hello Organization & Staff Development,

Happy to help!

One method that might work for you is to publish your Storyline 360 course for web distribution and upload the output to a web server. If you currently do not have access to a web server, you'll need to ask your IT staff to create one for you, or you can use Amazon S3 to host your content

Uploading to a web server will create a URL for your course which you can then use to embed it via an iFrame. I'll let other members of the community chime in if any of them have 'EasyGenerator' specific solutions that they're willing to share!

Hope this helps!
