Storyline and quizmaker

Hi
I've imported a Studio 09 quizmaker quiz into Storyline and i'm struggling with the retry/attempts.
In Quizmaker you can use quiz properties to determine how many times someone can take the quiz (this is the whole quiz and not individual questions) . However in Storyline in the Result slide properties you can tick the retry box, but this then allows the user infinite attempts (so it seems).
What I want to do is to allow the user two attempts at the whole quiz (The retry button should then disappear or not appear at all). I want to do this by the user going through the whole quiz attempting each question just once; if they fail then they use the retry button to do it once more.

Hi Barnes,
Set a numeric variable for the Retry Button. Set it's value to 2. and set trigger add "1" to variable 1, when user clicks "Retry button"
Set another trigger of "Change state of Retry Button to disable when user click it if "Variable=2"
