I have created a course in Storyline that includes an assessment. For each assessment question, students are given built in feedback no matter what multiple choice response option they choose. For some reason the feedback is not displaying when the student selects a question response and submits their answer.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or if there is something that I need to enable?

Without seeing the .story file, my initial suggestions would be to:
1. make sure the Feedback option is not set to none.
2. If you have more than one attempt allowed, you also have a Try Again layer/feedback:
