I have a number of Storyline eLearning courses, that I need to edit, and most of the changes include me having to edit the underlying speak audio, adding a sound and some silence. However, when I add silence, for some reason it jumps into the next speak-waveform.
In addition, sometimes when I import a sound into the middle of an audio track, it also jumps ahead, inserting it too close to the next waveform or in the middle of it :(
I was absolutely thrilled when I discovered that Storyline had a built-in audio editor, but if the editor doesn't work, what's the point? :S
Sorry you're running into that! We were seeing some syncing issues with the Audio Editor in Storyline 360, and we recently released a fix for that bug in Update 10.
What version of Storyline are you using? To check, click the Help tab, then click About Storyline.

Sorry you're running into that! We were seeing some syncing issues with the Audio Editor in Storyline 360, and we recently released a fix for that bug in Update 10.

my version of Storyline 360 is v3.8.13184.0

You can get on the latest update by following the directions here and as Alyssa mentioned above, this should address the issue you mentioned.
