PROCESSING COURSE.. Storyline block stuck on processing course in RISE

Sep 07, 2023

Hi!
I have problems publishing a storyline in to a block in Rise. I have been experiencing this problem with this file since a while now. I've publish and created new ones, I`ve copy the file into a new one... but I donĀ“t really know what's happening. And I have a client wating the course to be published on the LMS...

Could someone help me with this issue pls??

Thank you

Hi Alba,

I'm sorry you're having issues with a 'Processing course' warning when uploading a Storyline block; I'm happy to help!

It would be helpful to see the Storyline file to understand why it won't upload as a Storyline block. Do you mind attaching your project to this discussion or privately in a support case? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Thanks for sharing your project file in a support case, Alba! You're in good hands working one-on-one with Cleober. I see that he was able to publish the course to Review 360 and insert it to Rise as a Storyline block.

I encourage you to continue troubleshooting with Cleober so that we can find a fix for the issue that you're seeing on your end.

Hi David!

Sorry to hear you've also hit a snag when trying to add a Storyline block to your Rise 360 lesson. I'd be happy to help!

If you're willing to share a copy of your .story file, it would be helpful to take a closer look and test the behavior on our end. Feel free to upload it here in the discussion or share it privately through a support case. We'll delete it from our system as soon as we're finished!

I am currently experiencing the same problem! I have been trying to upload a storyline course for hours. I tried from different browsers, restarted my computer and cleared my cache.
Download Internet speed: 227 mb / Upload speed: 11 mb. I tried to upload an empty storyline course and it immediately uploaded.

Hello Gregory,

Thanks for following up on this case and informing us about the urgency! I see you're working with my teammate, Mark, on your support case, so you're in good hands! You should have received an email indicating that he is looking at your Storyline file to investigate the issue with adding it as a Rise Storyline block.

I encourage you to continue troubleshooting with Mark so that we can find a fix. Please let me know if you need help receiving his email; I'd be happy to help!
