We are using Storyline 4.1311.1422 as of this post, and when running on iOS 7.0.4 from a SCORM 1.2 LMS (tested against ScormCloud and Learn.com) the browser tab will close (crash). Course size does not seem to matter, as we have tested with a single page course as well. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix or work-around? Thanks!!!
Thanks for the response! Yes, we are using Safari on the iPad, although we have also tested Chrome which will not even run the course at all. We are aware of the iOS memory issues (thanks for the article) but as the same course runs fine from an AICC LMS or without any LMS communication, we believe that the code that Storyline runs is triggering the Safari tabs to close. We have been working with Rustici (who provides the Storyline LMS code), and they have agreed that their code has an issue (in combination with Storyline's compressed Javascript they say) but have no plans to fix the issue in the near future. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
When you run the course in Chrome, does it not work on the desktop version of Chrome? Chrome on the iPad is not supported.
I know that the issue you're describing is also something that our QA team is aware of, but unfortunately I don't have any additional information to share in regards to a fix or a time frame.

What browser are you using? On the iPad, you'll want to use mobile Safari, but if it's crashing, you may want to begin by reviewing this article.
