Storyline crashed after saved file and the saved changes were lost.

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help on this one. I have been working on a storyline 360 file and created many new questions in the file. For each new slide I save my progress so as not to lose any work. When I clicked to save after creating the last question the file saved as expected.
I then went to edit the question bank and remove all original questions and replace with the new questions created (additional questions added). When I edited the question bank the software crashed. I then went to re-open my saved file (with a save only minutes before hand) the file has reverted to the original file the same as it was when I started work on it several hours ago.
I have checked for temp files in the app data location and there are none. I'm wondering why this save has not worked and if anything can be done to retrieve the lost work I have done.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really sorry to hear about your project file. I understand that you'd like to know more about what caused the issue, as well as if there is any chance to recover the state of your course when the program crashed.
