Since yesterday, every time I try to publish a storyline file, it crashes. It is not limited to a single file. I have tried multiple files and they all crash at the same point. I have already tried creating a fresh file, closing and restarting storyline and restarting my computer - all have worked in the past, but not this time.
Hello! We have the same error. The Storyline crashes when trying to publish it as Scorm. The last status we see before the crash is "Writing Player". We can view all the slides and the entire Story. The problem occurs only when we try to publish it. We have this issue on Windows 10. We tried the steps above but didn't identify any slide that may have an error.
I'm sorry to hear that you're both experiencing an issue when attempting to publish your file. I've created a support case for each of you so our Support Engineers can investigate further. You should be hearing from a member of our team soon via email. If there is anything else you need in the meantime, please let us know!
I had the same issue today. It turns out it was an image that had pasted in an SVG format. I identified this through a process of elimination. i.e. tried publishing a scene = failed, tried publish first half of the scene = failed, tried publishing slide 1 = success, tried publishing slide 2 = failed, deleted all images on slide 2 = success etc

UPDATE : I have the same problem when I try to publish.
I have to close and re-open the file.
