Wondering if anyone else is having issues with Storyline crashing when using keyboard shortcuts to cut and paste. Lost work a couple of times now, even though I'm quite a diligent saver!
What items are you trying to copy/paste? Text, images, whole slides? I tested the keyboard shortcuts and copy/paste text and images and did not get any error or crashing.
As a small update, I can replicate the crashing behavior every time with a group of shapes and markers that make up my custom nav.
If I copy it from one slide, paste it on another, and then undo, it crashes every time (again, this only happens when I use keyboard shortcuts for these commands).
I tested this using 5 shapes and 3 markers, and was unable to replicate the behavior. If the repair does not work, you may want to share your file here for us to see if we can replicate, or you could open a support case.

You can try these steps for seeing erratic behavior, or if this does not work you can try a repair of Storyline.
Let us know if this helps.
Hi Emily - I mostly notice it with images, such as shapes.
Unfortunately, I cannot work directly off of my C drive, but I've been working this way for over a year and have never had any issues.
I will definitely try to repair Storyline and see if I still notice the behaviour.
Thanks Emily!

Thanks Emily! I am in the middle of that now.
Thanks for letting us know! Hopefully then can get your issue figured out.
