Storyline in Nexus 7
Oct 29, 2012
Hi,
I published and uploaded to a server an storyline project that was created at 960 x 540 (Story Size), when previewing it in a Nexus 7 tablet using Firefox, the slides are not in the middle of the screen and they display bigger that the screen resolution. The screen in a nexus 7 is 1280 x 800, the slides are 980 x 605 including the frame and seekbar that Storyline adds.
Audio is not working in a tablet either..
Any idea why is this happening and how can be solved?

Hi Francisco,
Although we don't officially support Storyline on Android, I know other customers have had some success viewing their courses from the platform. Are you viewing the HTML 5 or Flash version of your course?
I'm viewing the HTML 5 file, the behavior is normal with the exceptions of audio not playing and the size od the slides bigger than the screen.
I tried it on nexus but couldnt get it to work, I could do the course and everything but it wouldn't report back to the LMS at the end of it.
Hi Dan,
How does it work in terms of audio and fitting on the screen? what is the size of your slides? Are you using Firefox and opening the HTML5 file?
Did not work great on my Nexus 7 either. iPad works great using the Articulate app! I would guess they would need to create an app for the Android OS.
Thanks for the discussion, guys
Please know that we always welcome feature requests, and an Android player app is a popular one
Behaved a little better on displaying on the Nexus 7 when I told Chrome to "Request Desktop Site." But still no sound. Tried Chrome on my laptop using the HTML5 version and still had some bugs. Sound worked and most other items did. HTML5 support appears to still need some improvement.
