Some of our courses bookmark, specifically when we mark completion through a quiz; however, those that mark completion through counting slides do not. What should we do to allow our courses to bookmark?
If you LMS is SumTotal, this LMS has issues with completion statuses based on number of slides and will require you to test various SCORM publishing methods. Their forums and support can be of further assistance.
Thanks for the fast reply. We use Success Factors LMS. We just upgraded in July. We must publish for HTML5 to work with iPads. We are also using a relay.php file for cross domain issues. The course that tracks by number of slides for completion does not want to bookmark.
Also, I should add that we are publishing in AICC since Success Factors SCORM publishing does not support HTML5.
I do not know much about Success Factors LMS. I do know that AICC certainly supports bookmarking in a CrossDomain solution and this should work out-of-box.
My suggestion is that you have the LMS vendor look into the functions provided in the API.js file in the lms folder of the published output of you course. The API.js contains the functions tha thte LMS will use to communicate with your course.
