Storyline Rookie with branching scenario

May 09, 2016

Hi

I have built 7 scenes in my new course.  Every learner will see scene 1 first and scene 7 last, but navigate between scenes 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 in whatever order they choose.  I have built a Table of Contents slide in scene one that they return to so that they can pick the next scene they wish to review, and I can navigate them from their chosen scene back to that Table of Contents, but I can't figure out how to get them to scene 7 once they've visited all the other scenes.

I've tried a few things, but am stuck - help!

Hi Debra

you could build 6 T/F variables default to false.

On the last slide of each scene set a trigger to adjust variable 'scene1' to true when timeline starts on that slide.  Repeat for the other 5 scenes.

Add a trigger to the TOC slide, to jump to Scene 7 when timeline starts or when user clicks on next button on condition that 'scene1=true' and 'scene2=true'...'scene6=true'.

Hope that helps.
