Storyline - Save exercises answers

Aug 07, 2015

Hello,

I'm working on a course where my client asks me that student responses to quizz (essay) are recorded after an attempt. He wants that each time the student returns to the course and he sees the storyline, he has access to his answers.

By making a first test, I managed to keep the students answers, but when I change the browser, my answers are not there.

Is it that there is a solution to keep user responses using any browser?

Thank you a lot!

Stéphanie

Bonjour,

Merci beaucoup!

Stéphanie

Leslie thank you.

I will reconfigure my storyline and make a second try.

My problem is that when the learner has the quiz in Google Chrome browser, it may review its response and resume from the point where it was made. But when using another browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.), the answers are not saved and must start over again.

Hi Leslie,

I have reviewed both tutorials and it's still not working.

When I change my browser, my answers are not saved.

I did the exercise in Google Chrome then when I go to Internet Explorer, you must start over the exercise from the beginning.

In attachment, here is my story.file

Thank you,

Stéphanie

Hi Stephanie!

Are you publishing to LMS or to the web?

  • If your LMS supports bookmarking, mark the box labeled When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie. The LMS will control resume behavior in this scenario.
  • If your LMS does not support bookmarking, uncheck When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie. The Flash cookie will control resume behavior in this scenario.

If you are publishing to the web or your LMS does not support bookmarking, you would be relying on browser cookies for this functionality to work.
