Storyline slide numbering

I would like to add the slide numbers to each slide, (insert page number) but the only way it allows this is in the menu.   I don't use a menu in most WBTs, so that doesn't do me any good.   Can you add a slide number automatically to the actual slide, just as you can do in powerpoint?   thank you!!!
