Storyline to iPad

Feb 15, 2017

I'm having some trouble trying to view my Storyline file on my iPad. I've feel like I've followed all the tutorials and still can't figure it out.

I have a Mac and use Parallels; not sure if that matters. Well, I know I can't seem to email projects to myself because my outlook is on my mac and not windows.

I've tried to upload the files to Google Drive (both zipped and the story.html files). I also tried to email the story.html file to myself and my iPad just keeps saying it can't open that type of file. I did install the app, so I'm really not sure what's going on.

I tried publishing "online" and in "lms" and neither worked.

Thank you for any help :)

Hello Erin and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

My first question would be did you allow HTML5 content when you published as this would be essential for viewing on a mobile device.

Second question would be to make sure you were viewing the published content in the intended environment and not viewing locally.

Do you know where your content will be hosted and viewed by learners?

A great tool for web output testing that I utilize is Tempshare.

If you need us to take a look at your .story file, feel free to attach it to your reply.
