Storyline Upgrade or Update Issue

I am trying to open someone else's Storyline file and received this error message:

I am running 2001-2012 version of Storyline with Update 1 installed. Any suggestions what I'm missing?

Hi Cheryl,

We are currently on Update 5 of Storyline version 1, so if you're able to update it does include a number of bug fixes and improvements. If you're going to update Storyline I'd recommend you first uninstall following the directions here. 

You'll then want to download update 5 from the link John shared, and follow these directions to install Storyline.
