Storyline Viewing options

When working in storyline, is there a setting I can choose to only see what's actually visible on each slide instead of showing shapes / pictures that fall outside of the slide. See attachment for example.

There's no setting that hides the off-slide stuff that won't be visible to the user.

Some options to consider: 

  • Crop shapes and pictures so they end at the edge of the slide. 
  • Add bright lines on the outside edges of the slide. Place them so they won't show to the user but will define the borders when you're editing.

When working on your project, you'll be able to see all items added to your timeline, both on and off slides, as Judy has explained above.
