storyline XLF in Arabic

May 10, 2021

Dear E learning heroes,

Hope you are well!  We are creating and designing training for our organization reaching over 38,000 employees.  We have done this using RISE and storyline.  Now we need to translate a few of these in Arabic and are stuck.  Ideally we'd like to translate this into Rise, but from what I have read this is not possible?

Can we export a storyline file as an xlf, translate into Arabic, get an Arabic xlf back and import it back into storyline in way that presents correctly?  Or is there another way of doing this?  Very grateful for your help and support!

Kind Regards,

Hi Marianel,

Thanks for reaching out. Right-to-Left language is not currently supported in Rise 360, but I'll be sure to add you to the list of folks who have requested it! There is a workaround from a fellow community member you may consider reviewing:

Are you running into issues getting this to work in Storyline? If so, please share your .story file with our support engineers, and they can provide further guidance!
