Streaming Video from Brightcove

Hi! I have a technical question related to streaming videos from Brightcove in my Storyline project, and being able to trigger moving to the next slide when the video finishes.
Currently, my solution is to stretch out the timeline for the video slide to roughly match the length of the video. However, if the user pauses the video using the Brightcove player controls, this will not stop the Storyline timeline, and will ultimately cut the video short for the user. Has anyone here successfully implemented streaming videos into their projects? If so, how did you get around the above issue?

Hi Doxey:
Put the video on a layer and then you can set the layer properties to control the main timeline.
Hope this helps.

I tried to do that layer properties idea, and I couldn't get it to work. Also since I am uploading the course to a LMS, I can't preview how it will function until I upload it to our servers...
Hi guys - can anyone explain how to insert a web object (video), from Brightcove instead of YouTube? can't seem to get it even show up once I've published it! Need it to work on iPad and PC via our LMS.
Many thanks,
Ashley
Hi Ashley,
I replied to your other post here, but I hope you get some community support here too!
