We are looking at upgrading from Studio 09 to Storyline. Since all our existing material has been created in Studio 09, will we be able to make updates and changes to it using Storyline? Or will it require rework? We are also considering buying a license for Studio 13 as well just to be able to update our existing modules.
If you import slides from Presenter into Storyline, you'll be able to modify the content, yes. Importing PowerPoint content into Storyline is not an exact one-to-one conversion. As a result, text may look a bit different. And although most features in PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter are supported in Storyline, some are not. You may want to take a look at this knowledge base article and keep it for a reference, if you plan on working with a lot of Presenter content.
I'm not sure what type of content you're working with from Studio. I do want to mention, though, that if you're working with any Engage Interactions or Quizmaker quizzes, you'll need to edit those outside of Storyline. They won't import in the same manner as Presenter slides.
