I've created a submit button for some quiz questions instead of using the player default.
When I preview as a scene, the submit button jumps to a new slide even though I have set no trigger to enable it to do so. It's only trigger is to change the state of another button.

what type of quiz slide is it? Can you share the story file and someone might be able to help you
Does it have the submit interaction trigger? If you have no feedback submit will then jump to the next slide
There is no feedback. It's a survey question.
If you have a submit trigger it will jump to the next slide
