I want to subtract points when the wrong thing is clicked and add them when the right thing is clicked. I have a separate variable to show the points, which is called Total. I have a box to show the total.
The variable to add points works but not to subtract points.
You can see the variable from my screen shot. Please advice me on what I am doing wrong.
I don't think it needs a support case you can delete the condition or check how it works, personally I think the condition should say is not equal to 0

what is the value of points when you subtract the condition there only works if it is equal to 1

You have a condition on the trigger to subtract 1 is points is equal to 1 so that is the only time that trigger will fire.
My question was is the value of points equal to 1 when the trigger doesn't work? You can add a reference to see the value of points
