Template example- from Articulate

Dec 19, 2023

Hi,

I was reading the new features that articulate has, and I got interested in the template of this training, however I could not see the editable version so I can downloaded, and noticed that it has some comments asking about it. Could you please share with me the template?

This is the training ,

Storyline: Employee Health and Wellness Thank you very much, If there is no document, Do you have a link so I can see what are the steps to create a training like that. Before you start the training it asks what is your role, if manager or employee and it gives different information depending on which role you choose. Thank you again,  Best regards

That's a demo course that was built internally and not a template. There's actually a lot going on in that file under the hood so it's not as easy as just sharing the slides. To add custom content would require more than copy/paste.

With that said, there may be some elements of that course that could be templatized. What parts of the course do you like?

Thank you for your rapid response.

Yes please, I would like to have as this demo, before the course start the learner can choose the role that they have (a. manager b. Employee) and according to which role they chose, is the information they will be able to see.

please see this link

Thank you

That is relatively easy to do. There's really nothing special on those slides since they're buttons that link to other slides.

  • Create an employee scene and a manager scene
  • Create buttons that link to those scenes.
  • If you want to get more creative and have more control of the role of the employee you can create a variable
    • varRole = ?
    • user clicks employee button set varRole = employee (repeat for manager)
    • Then when they go to a slide you know if they are employee or manager and you can control what you want to display or where they can go based on the value of the variable.
  • You can learn more about variables here
