Templates and Slide Masters

I recently resumed my work with Storyline. I started working with a .storytemplate file that contains about 30-40 slide layouts. Now the whole thing worked pretty seamlessly except that when I got just 1 slide from the template, all the slide masters in that template file got transferred to my file. And since I work a lot with slide masters, this now became a chore. I had slide masters for slides that i did not even use in my file. And when I tried to update the slide masters, it took pretty long.
Is this something that others have also experienced or am I doing something wrong here. I would really like to know what I am doing wrong and if I am indeed following the right process, then how can I solve this problem. I hope I have been able to articulate my problem well. If not, then I will send in some files as well to explain the problem. :(

How can I delete this question? Its a moot point for now. I realized that if I have a solid state hard drive, my system will be fast enough and handling these slide masters will not be a difficult task.

I apologize for the delay. There's no need to worry about deleting the post. I'll mark it as answered for you, though, so others will know that you're no longer working on this issue.
In addition, if you no longer wish to have the original post show, you can always edit the post under "Options" and simply replace the text with something else, or remove it.
