I downloaded some templates and copied them to the articulate template folder. When I open Storyline and go to the templates, the templates I copied over do not appear on the drop down list. Is there something I'm missing?
There are a few things we can try initially to rule out some common issues. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on Update 5 can be found here.
I think I figured it out. Many of the "templates" I downloaded don't have the template extension. They were saved as a story not a template. I downloaded these from the free templates link in storyline. I guess I have to open each one of these and resave them as a template.
