I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to set up - you'll need to reset the text entry field if you'd like the value to be reset or allow the user to revisit the slide and enter in new information? You could set up a trigger to Adjust value of TextEntry (or whatever your variable is called) to (blank) when the timeline starts and you will also want to look at your slides revisiting properties and allow it to "reset to initial state" or else the user may not be able to change the answer.
