Text entry field layout

Hi all,

We have ran into a problem with the layout in "text entry" fields multiple times for a course.

The set-up of the slides is: 1 or more "text entry" boxes with some text above it. In the text entry box we have an instruction, like "type your values here".

The problem here is the layout of the text entry boxes. We want to have the same margins as in other text boxes and want to put a sentence in cursive, and also add line spacing if there is more than 1 sentence.
For some reason, when we apply any of this (margins, cursive, line spacing), it doesn't show in preview mode and in review. It does show correctly in the Storyline working view. 

Has anyone encountered this problem before?
