Text Entry field not displaying properly

Hello Scott!

Thank you for sharing those screenshots in your post! I can see how the text entry field is displayed differently in the Slide View and published output. Have you tried deleting and adding another text entry field?

If that doesn't do the trick, it would be helpful to take a look at your project to determine the fix. You can share the .story file in this discussion by using the "add attachment" button or privately in a support case. Either way, we'll take a look and reply with our findings.

I tried deleting and reloading the Text Entry box as you suggested, but had the same result. I am attaching the Storyline file here. The slide in question is 1.8 "Your Turn".

Thank you for sharing your .story file!

I could reproduce the behavior you experienced, but only when the file was published (it appeared fine in Preview mode). I tried a few things:

• Re-creating the variable.
• Adjusting the Text box shape options.
• Removing other items from the slide.
• Importing the slides into a new file.

However, since none of those steps worked, I'd like to connect you with one of our support engineers. I opened a case on your behalf, and you should hear from our team via e-mail.

Update...Articulate tech support figured out that if I removed the soft edges formatting from the Text-Entry box, the problem was corrected.
