I'am building an e-Learning course for mathematics. I was wondering if it's possible to put a calculator on every slide that a student can use for the input of a text entry field, so that they don't have to use their keyboard to answer the questions in my course.
There are several ways to include persistent items such as a calculator:
Lightbox slide
Custom player tab
Slide master
Here's an example of a calculator Dave M put together. I copied it from the slide and pasted on the slide master. It's available for each slide so the learner has quick access.
Thx David. It's not exactly what I meant. But it looks great and is a good starting point to work from.
I need a calculator with only ten digits and a submit button. When the student wants to answer a question like '4 x 5 = ' he/she can answer it by clicking '2' and '0' and then select the submit button. This action will show the layer for a good answer. When they have used the wrong digits It will show them the layer for a wrong answer.
I have used the calculator from Davids post as a startingpoint and I'am sort of half way of solving the 'problem'. Does any of you know if It is possible to mark a textbox (%CurrentValue%) in a question bank as the inputfield to evaluate?

Would something like this work?

It's an interesting question.
