Text entry / not working on windows tablet
Jan 15, 2016
Hi everyone,
My client is using a windows tablet to view a storyline content. Apparently, he encounters problems with "text entry" exercises : no on-screen keyboards appears and he cannot complete the exercise... Has anyone ever encounter this problem?
His configuration : Dell Venue 8 Pro Serie 3000, Windows 8.1 (32 bits, x64), Internet Explorer 11, Flash Player v17
As I don't have a windows tablet, I can't reproduce the problem (everything is fine on Ipad, Android phones and tablets...), and before to return the problem to my client, I would like to be sure that there's no known issues on windows tablets...
Thanks!

Hi, Aurelien -- Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! In case you haven't had a chance to take a look, here is our System Requirements sheet for SL2. Unfortunately, as I also do not have a Windows tablet on which to perform any testing, I would like to recommend that you reach out to our Support Engineers directly for additional assistance using this form.
Thank you for the reply... I will contact the support engineers. if we find a solution I will share it here!
Hi, Aurelien -- I appreciate your response and I see that you are working with one of our Engineers on your ticket, #00726919. I will be sure to keep tabs and will share updates here for others who are following along. :)
UPDATE: The following is the reply Aurelien was provided by our Support Engineer, Abel, for anyone following along with this thread:
Thanks for patiently waiting. Although I do not have a Dell Venue 8 Pro Series 3000 device, I had a found a colleague which is using Dell Venue 8 (not the pro) and he confirmed that he can also reproduce the issue on his device. It appears that this issue is specific to Dell Venue 8 devices. I have submitted your case to our Quality Assurance team for their review. Unfortunately I was unable to determine a workaround. I cannot offer a time frame for when or if this issue will be resolved.
I'll ensure to keep you posted should any information becomes available.
