text inside a zoom region

Hello all. 

I am wondering if there is a way to control the appearance of text inside a zoom region. 

I work in SL2. I want to use a zoom region to highlight speakers in a course while using caption bubbles to display what they are speaking. That way I can slide the zoom region from one speaker to the next when its time for that character to speak. Almost a panning effect really.

The issue I have is when I make the text small enough that it doesn't take up the whole area inside the zoom region, the text looks grainy in the preview of the region because it's been magnified so much.

Is there another way of accomplishing this effect without the grainy text? 

I appreciate any idea you can offer.
