Is there a way to reduce the default time in the timeline? When I add an object the timeline it seems to default to either 173 or 324 seconds. Most of my slides are only 30-40 seconds. I have some triggers to do something at the end of the slide. But if I don't manually move the timeline time from 173 to the end of my audio, the user sits on the screen until the end of the slide timeline.

Curious if the issue happens in any course you are working on or just this particular one? If you cannot re-create the issue in a new course, I would advise to import the file into a new one and proceed.

Adding an object should only create a timeline 5 seconds long, unless you are pasting from a slide that is 173 seconds long.
There is no way to reduce this apart from dragging.
If you have the behaviour with every object, I would open a support case.
