Unfortunately, many of the leading LMSs used by big businesses [like sumtotal, successfactors(plateau)] not yet equipped with Tin Can API and i don't see them doing any time soon. This makes my job very hard as the iPads are being deployed and tracking options are very limited.

The easiest and most economical solution would be using LearnDash with GrassBlade xAPI Companion on WordPress and GrassBlade LRS

Are there any updates? We are going to integrate SuccessFactors to our firm and I'm interested in xAPI support. 

BTW does SL3 support xAPI? Or which authoring tool does support Tin Can API / xAPI?

Storyline 2, 3 and Storyline 360 publishes content to Tin Can API version 1.0.

Rise also supports Tin Can API.

LITMOS by CallidusCloud supports TinCan.

Most of the popular authoring tools support xAPI. Articulate products are most popular among them.

However, Articulate Rise has few pending xAPI bugs, but so far works well with GrassBlade.
