I'm not sure I'm clear on your question about where they'll be written to be tracked by your LRS - as that is typically where the data and information is written and stored. You may want to begin by taking a look at the information here and the other linked articles specific to Tin Can output.
Thanks! I've seen this page in many many posts. However, it doesn't really help me figure out what else I need to do other than publish for Tin Can.
I may be a little unclear, as I'm still trying to figure out what more I need to do to find my way to the realm of data that comes with tin can xAPI.
I tested an eLearning I did on scorm.com and looked at the LRS to see what's happening in there. However, It only showed some info on each slides that are part of the course.
I was hoping to see more info related to actions taken in the different layers on each slides. Objects clicked, url visited from the content, documents opened (embeded in the content), etc.
I've seen folks look at customizing statements in forum discussions such as this one and perhaps this one where you could include the items that the user clicked on within a slide, as that is not the normal/built in data reported to an LMS using Storyline or Studio.
